Six months ago...
Has it really been six months since Illustrious? Six months to the hour since we were setting up the tech? All those fun little things that happened, yet we somehow pulled it off. (Which reminds me, I have an evil plan for the pink smithereens which I must get round to carrying out in my CFT. Haha.)
I still have an occasional earworm of that orchestral cover of U2's Beautiful Day that features on one of the discs we used as house music. (It's not an unpleasant earworm, mind.)
Shortly after the con I applied for my NZ visa and the rest is, well, history... I don't know when I'll next get to an Eastercon, but I don't see how it's likely to be any time soon unless it happens (or is wangled) to coincide with a UK trip. OTOH the NZ national con is in Auckland in early June next year, and the Aus national con in Melbourne a week later; one or other of those is worth a trip, if only to see how they stack up.
